Privacy policy

DRAFT: this text is a placeholder and must be replaced by the approved legal text before launch.

1. What we collect. Your phone number (to sign you in), your name and seller profile if you create one, the listings, photos, stories, reviews and messages you publish, your favorites and saved searches, the push notification token of your device, and technical data needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use it. To run the service, show your listings to other users, let people contact you, send you notifications you asked for, prevent abuse and fraud, and improve the service.

3. What others see. Your seller name, listings, photos, reviews and stories are public. The exact address of a rental is shown only as the listing rules allow. Your phone number is not shown to other users.

4. Sharing. We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the providers that help us run the service (such as SMS and notification delivery) and when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it. While your account exists. Records needed for deals, reviews and safety may be kept without your name afterwards.

6. Your choices. You can edit your profile and listings, and delete your account in the app. Deleting removes your personal data, listings, stories, favorites, messages content and uploaded files.

7. Security. Data is sent encrypted and stored on servers we control.

8. Contact. [contact details to be added]
